It is the process of accultural or elimination of a culture. Etymologically means killing or eliminating a culture. It is usually a consequence of penetration of other stronger or massive cultures. It happens with small ethnicities who lose their roots, beliefs, traditions and even their language. It can also occur with the disappearance of its members.
