It is one of the many names that it has a cucurbitaceous plant of edible fruits. In Colombia it is known as bolo, pumpkin or angel hair. Other common names in America are alcayota, cayote, lacayote, chiclayo, chilacayote, victoria, vitoria. Its scientific name is Cucurbita ficifolia and belongs to the family Cucurbitaceae.
