In Colombia and especially in the Eastern Plains is one of the common names of a bird. It is also known as hoatcín, hoatzín, pava hedionda or guacharaca de agua , shensho , serere. Its scientific name is Opisthocomus hoazin and belongs to the Opisthocomidae family.
