It is a deprecated term ( cardex or kardex). In Colombia I wanted to say file or folder, where a lot of information is stored in an orderly manner. Name that was formerly given to an archiver or filing cabinet. It is the Castilianization of Kardex.

CardEx is incorrectly written, and should be written as "Cabinet" being its meaning: Cabinet. Metal cabinet with drawers slide, where the hanging form alphabetical folders are sorted.
