In Greek mythology Brontes was one of the three cyclopes sons of Uranus and Gaia, representing atmospheric electrical phenomena. His name 914; 961; 959; 957; 964; 951; 962; (Brontes) means "he who thunders".

In Greek mythology he was one of the Cyclops sons of Uranus and Gaia. It means the one that thunders or rumbles. He was a one-eyed giant, brother of Estéropes and Arges. He was very short-tempered, but excellent craftsman.
