BITUCA Colocasia escuelita, commonly called taro, pituca or malanga, ? is a species of plant in the araceas family, which grows in the Americas and the Caribbean area. It is an edible tuber similar to a potato, with a harder consistency and pinkish color inside. It is cooked in a similar way to potato, cassava and cassava.
