Meaning of belenes

belenes: 1º_ Plural of nativity scene, in this case only for artistic or traditional representations of the birth of Jesus in the manger of Bethlehem. Thus, in the plural, it is more colloquially used for "confusion, commotion".; They are representations with figurines of various materials from the environment of Bethlehem at the time of the Birth of the Child Jesus. In some countries they are called nativity scenes and in Colombia we call them nativity scenes.; It is said of the plastic representations of the birth in Bethlehem of the baby Jesus and that they are created at Christmas; they can be simple with a basic representation (Virgin, Child and Saint Joseph) or more complicated and larger, with a greater number of figures and geography, such as creating streams, dunes, including shepherds, the Three Kings, etc.
