In Colombia we know it as Basilisks, its scientific name is Basiliscus basiliscus, it is a type of lizard, which has an adaptation on its hind legs that "allow it to run on the surface of the water" in order to protect itself. It is possible to find it from Mexico to Venezuela. They also call it Cherepe, moracho, toloque, tetetetete.
