BALZAR also known as San Jacinto de Balzar, is an Ecuadorian city; head of the homonymous canton, as well as the ninth largest and most populated city in the province of Guayas. It has its origin in that in this place had the exit the sticks of raft, tree that abounded in its mountainous areas and that the locals harvested from its leafy mountains.
