Wasp diminutive. Small wasp. They are insects of the Vespidae family that belong to the gener Vespa (or Vespula). They are mostly pests. Among the most important are the chestnut wasp (Dryocosmus kuriphilus ) and the almond beep ( Eurytoma amygdali ).
