In Buddhism, a person who has attained Nirvana, someone who has gained a deep understanding of the true nature of existence and therefore will not be born again. It is also referred to as Arahant. Goal of Spiritual Progress, in Theravada Buddhism. He has no emotional obscurations, unflappable, as a practitioner of the shravaka, pratyekabuddha or bodhisattva class in Buddhism.
