1. m. Med. I worm nematelminto parasite of man, white or pink, color of 10 to 18 mm in length and less than 1 mm in diameter, with an oral capsule with two pairs of hooks which serve to fix the small intestine, almost always the jejunum or the duodenum. It produces the hookworm.
