The ALAMBOR is a reinforcement of a vertical wall. The ALAMBOR is silky along vertical wall from its base, on the ground, to a variable height. At its base, the ALAMBOR, is very wide and at its cusp melts into slope, with the vertical wall. Walls with ALAMBOR are called "ALAMBORADOS". The ALAMBOR made it difficult to climb the alamborado wall. In Spanish and referring to the walls of the fortresses, the ALAMBOR, is called ESCARPA and the WALLS ESCARPADOS or in TALUD. It seems that the word ALAMBOR comes from Arabic, "al ambor".
