In Calzada de Calatrava an expression was used to put himself on the back foot. It was to get to the "estubo" . I suppose it is written with b, but I have never seen the written word, despite being very common its spoken use in the 50s and 60s of the last century. The most common way to get to the tube was by means of two high chairs that protected from the wind with a blanket on the back and two low chairs joined with the high ones by means of said backrest to sit. In this way you sunbathed and were sheltered from the wind. Its use was common among women after eating in winter, on the street. The word estubo was also used for any other type of wind shelter.
