Abutilon ( thus without tilde ) It is a genus of ornamental plants, usually shrubby. Some are native to Uruguay, ( Abutilon striatum ) and 40 Brazil; Abutilon megapotamicum ). The illustrious Abutilon was introduced in Colombia and is originally from Asia minor; It is red-flowered and is named Red Abutilon. They are from the family Malvaceae. Its foliage is always green and pretty flowers.
