Plural of trompillo . In Colombia it is the name of a medium-sized tree of several plants. We also say to the Tree a watershed or guaraguao. Its scientific name is Guarea guidonia and belongs to the family Meliaceae. One of the plants is the Astrocasia tremula. It is medicinal and used against the action of snake venom.
