Noble odorless and colorless gas very abundant on the Sun, but not so much on our planet. Its chemical symbol is He and its discoverers Joseph Norman Lockyer and Pierre Jules César Janssen along with the chemist Edward Frankland christened it helium, a Latinized version of the Greek 951; 955; 953; 959; (helium "Sun").
