NOPAZ BEAN see NOPAS . Tree native to America, dark brown. 8 complete pods weigh about 1 kg. Frijol is a deformation of fresol, from Old Spanish, which took it from the Latin phaseolus, 'bean' and phaselus. 'boat, canoe', for the similarity of the pod.
