Of foras mountains, outside the mountains, people not mountain, not belonging to the mountains of Cantabria: those who repopulated the Bierzo and the lands to the North of the plateau of the Duero in the 9th century, when it began to give up the thrust of the Muslim conquest. Some villages of Orense, Zamora and Salamanca are this nickname as Faramontanos de Tábara, head of Framontanos and Faramontaos.
