ASCLEPIAS CURASSAVICA, popularly called milkweed, is a perennial species of the genus Asclepias, in the family Apocynaceae. Originally from tropical America, today it is positioned in many parts of the world. It is used as food for butterflies. Its flower is a combination of red petals and yellow shoots.
