Conisturgis : From the place-name ibero-Phoenician ( t ) urgis equivalent to Celtic -briga and Latin oppidum and castrum, fortress, fortified city, city of the cones, pre-Roman Hispanic village of the southwestern peninsular, founded around the 7th century a. D. C. along the Guadiana River and related to Tartessos. In the year 79 a. D.
