It is the name of a Venezuelan city of the State of Anzoátegui. It was formerly known as Acuripacuar. It is also one of the common ways to call a creeping plant whose fruit is the cucumber of stew, caihua, qaiwa. Its scientific name is Cyclanthera pedata and belongs to the family Cucurbitaceae.
