Wyclifista movement, political and religious movement, initiated in the England of the late FOURTEENTH and early FIFTEENTH centuries, based on the teachings of the Theologian of the University of Oxford John Wyclif. They defended the predestination, the elimination of laws limiting the wages of the peasants, the communion in the Eucharist, the evangelical poverty, arriving to attack Noble and ecclesial possessions.
