The concept of Greek origin, derived from three nouns: 1 ) the case genitive, «kréatos»: the meat of the nominative «kréas»: meat; 2 ) "inos": substance; 3 ) «áima»: blood ( the diphthong 'AI' becomes 'e' ) and the ending 'ia', meaning of pathological condition.
