Diminutive of chirola , small chirola . It is a very colloquial way in Colombia to refer to the head, when they also say motola, múcura, testa or porra. It also refers colloquially to prison or to coins of little value. Very small coins (in Colombia they are currently 50 or 100 pesos). Also by extension they mean trifle, small quantity, small number.
