Meaning of carquexa

carquexa: It is the name in Asturian, of a medicinal plant, also called carqueixa. It receives in the Iberian Peninsula other names : lavacuncas , carquesa , carquesa , carquesia , chamosquina , craqueja , engordatoro , torogordo . Its scientific name is Genista tridentata and belongs to the fabaceae family.; Carquexa : Plant of small leaf and whose cooking is excellent to exhaust moods, remove hypochondria and seizures and also is a great specific for gout and rheumatism, so that some consider it as a universal remedy.
