In economics it is a phenomenon that manifests itself with an accelerated, untimely, strong and prolonged rise in the price of a product. In Computer Science is an algorithm of sorting. Isolation or confinement space to prevent infections.
It is a small balloon of gaseous matter that forms in a liquid, and comes to the surface, which can float wrapped in a tense, thin layer of that same liquid where it formed, until it loses consistency and breaks. By association it is said of a medium or situation isolated from its environment, such as "within a bubble". Also as something that "goes up" in a precarious situation until it "explodes" and is lost.
