It is the irrational fear of bovine animals, such as the bull (and cow) or the ox. I would like to say that it comes from the Greek 946; 959; 965; 962; ( bous "cow, ox" ) , but in truth it is taken from its Latin version bos , bovis and its adjective bovinus , a , um ("relative to the bull") , with the suffix -phobia that does come from the Greek.
