The Caval case, in which the son of the then president of Chile, Michele Bachelet, Sebastián Dávalos and his wife Natalia Compagnon bought by the real estate company Caval, of his property, a rural site in Machalí, fraudulently turned it into urban and resold it several times its original value. One edge of the case is the 'scam edge' that consisted of the sale of false reports to businessman Gonzalo Vial Concha in 2012 and 2013, to support with documentation a port mining project in northern Chile. The businessman sued them in 2016 for a $1 damage. 400 million, about 2 million dollars.
