Hematidrosis, also called hemohidrosis ( sweating blood ) is an extremely rare disease. He has been described in various ways and is often linked to religious beliefs. It is a physiological response to a situation of maximum stress. Described only in people who knew with certainty that they were going to die soon as a painful, condemned to death or in war situations. It is believed that Jesús of Nazareth presented this condition prior to his arrest and crucifixion, as it is written in the Gospel of Luke, (Luke 22:44 ).
