crematistaLa crematista Word crematismo ( chrematistes ) It is an expression from the Greek, whose significance refers to itinerant judges who taught justice from place to place under the discretion of the archidikasta, who, during the Ptolemaic authority, practiced the legal control over Egypt, from Alexandria, presiding at the crematistas. The Greek civil law remained in effect during that time and was included to the legal code of Alexandria and other Egyptian cities. Being initially transitional judicial associations, the crematistas, dealt with the estrategos the claims of individuals regardless of the ethnicity of resorting, as judges who conform to the local jurisdiction and solved disputes along the way, only the exposed in Greek language ( the laocritas were connoisseurs in lawsuits in Egyptian language ).Over the years, the crematistas were treated similarly dependent on Egyptian law litigation. The figure of the crematista was disintegrating in the Roman period, where the praefectus concentrated all legal faculties.
